rules
Short version: host your own stuff, keep it legal, do not be a problem. The long version is below.
What this is for
ovo.sx is a scratchpad for screenshots, sketches, reference shots, stream clips and the occasional silly gif — the things you want to paste into a chat and forget about. It is not a backup service, not a gallery, and not a CDN for someone else's website.
Absolutely not, ever
- Anything sexual involving minors. That includes drawn and rendered work, and it includes cub art. There is no exception, no "but it's fictional", and no warning shot — the file goes, and the report goes where it needs to go.
- Real-life abuse. Content depicting actual violence against people or animals, or produced through it.
- Someone's private life without their say-so. No doxxing, no personal documents, no screenshots posted to harass a specific person, no intimate images shared without consent.
- Malware, phishing kits, or anything pretending to be a login page.
- Content that is illegal in the country the server is hosted in.
Please don't
- Repost art that isn't yours as if it is. Sharing a friend's piece in a chat is fine. Stripping a signature is not, and neither is mirroring a whole gallery.
- Use this as storage. Files here are cheap and disposable. Keep your own copy of anything you would miss.
- Hotlink at scale. Embedding a clip in a Discord message is the point. Wiring ovo.sx into your website's image tags is not.
- Automate it into the ground. There is a rate limit; if you are hitting it, whatever you are building probably wants its own host.
Adult work
NSFW art is allowed, between consenting adult characters, and it stays unlisted the same way everything else here does — nobody is browsing a public feed of it, because there isn't one. Tag it and place it responsibly wherever you paste the link; that part is on you.
Limits
100 MB per file. Images, video and audio only — the accepted formats are listed on the front page. Everything else bounces before it is ever written to disk.
When something breaks a rule
Files that break these rules get deleted, and the addresses behind repeat offences get blocked. There are no accounts to ban yet, so the blunt instruments are all we have; try not to make us reach for them.
To report a file or ask for one to be taken down, mail abuse@ovo.sx with the link. Reports about the first section get handled first and fast.
